I still remember the meeting with our friends at ASUS last august. In its biggest-ever exhibition appearance, ROG displays over 3000 products, hosted live competitions and demos new gear including 4K/VR-ready GPUs and you cannot forget their gaming laptops, fast forward to Gamescom 2019 – what can we expect from ASUS this year?
In its biggest-ever presence at the European gaming exhibition, ROG is hosting a booth in Hall 7 with multiple demo areas showcasing a superior lineup of gaming products, including the ROG Swift PG65UQ and PG27UQ 4K HDR gaming monitors, ROG Ryujin and Ryuo AIO CPU coolers, ROG Thor 1200W Platinum power supply, ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 tri-band 802.11ax router, ROG Delta gaming headset, ROG Gladius II Wireless gaming mouse, and ROG Balteus Qi wireless charging gaming mouse pad.
With new graphics cards and fire power to show off, it seems they fired on all cylinders and didn’t hold back and gave us a preview on what to come from them in the year of 2018-2019.
As part of the first day of activities, ROG also announced four new gaming laptops: Zephyrus S, Strix SCAR II, and ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705. Zephyrus S features an even slimmer design than Zephyrus M, super-narrow bezels and the Intel® Core™ i7-8750H CPU and up to NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 with Max-Q Design GPU. Strix SCAR II is the world’s most compact 17.3-inch laptop with a width less than 40cm and an ultrafast super-narrow-bezel display that delivers a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. FX505 and FX705 are the first 15- and 17-inch TUF Gaming laptops to come with NanoEdge FHD IPS-level displays.
The more interesting thing is that , they were heading to fight head on with Razers Gaming Phone with their own take full on fire power of a phone.
ROG Phone
ROG Phone is a game-changing 6-inch smartphone designed specifically for high-performance mobile gaming. Its unique GameCool 3D vapor-chamber cooling system — with detachable AeroActive Cooler for an extra cooling boost — sustains blur-free high frame rates in the heat of battle, while its no-compromise AMOLED display blends a blazing 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time with gorgeous HDR visuals.
The ultra-comfortable design of ROG Phone includes unique side-mounted ports, and the enhanced, ultra-responsive game controls — including two programmable ultrasonic AirTriggers and advanced force-feedback haptics — let gamers focus all their skills on the game, giving them the edge they need for total domination. A unique range of powerful expansion accessories further enhances the ROG Phone gaming experience: the optional TwinView Dock for dual-screen handheld mode; the Mobile Desktop Dock for desktop-style gaming; and the Gamevice controller with ASUS WiGig® Display Dock using 60GHz Wi-Fi for big-screen gaming. It can be said that they really gave us quit a show and demonstration and impressed many potential buyers at the worlds bigger gaming convention, and now seeing how they will do in this next Gamescom which is predicted to be an even bigger then last year will surly impress and attract more poeple to see their new products.
